Tanto Lab — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern any project ordered through Tanto Lab ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order, submitting a brief, or making a payment, the client ("you," "your") agrees to these Terms.

1. Services

Tanto Lab provides UGC (User-Generated Content) style video ads for SaaS and tech products, including strategy, scriptwriting, creator casting, filming coordination, and video editing.

2. Plans and Pricing

  • Single Video — $100 per video
  • 4 Video Bundle — $360/month ($90 per video)
  • Custom — volume and pricing agreed on a case-by-case basis

Prices are subject to change for future orders; the price agreed at the time of order confirmation applies to that order.

3. Payment Terms

  • 50% of the project total is due upfront to begin work.
  • The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of the final video.
  • Payment is processed via the payment link provided (Stripe). No work begins, and no final files are delivered, until the applicable payment has been received.

4. The Process

  1. Brief — You share information about your product, audience, and the angle you'd like us to test.
  2. Script — We write a script built around a proven hook structure. You review and approve the script before filming begins.
  3. Shooting & Editing — A vetted creator films the approved script. We edit the raw footage into a polished, ready-to-run video.
  4. Delivery — You receive the final video file(s).

No filming begins until the script has been approved in writing (email or written message is sufficient).

5. Revisions

  • Single Video plan: 1 free round of revisions is included.
  • 4 Video Bundle and Custom plans: 2 free rounds of revisions per video are included.

A revision covers reasonable adjustments to the approved creative direction (e.g., pacing, delivery, minor script tweaks). It does not cover a full change of concept or angle after the script was already approved — that is treated as a new project and quoted separately. Additional revision rounds beyond what's included may be billed separately; we'll confirm any extra cost with you before proceeding.

6. Turnaround Time

We aim to move as quickly as possible on our end at every stage of the process. We do not commit to a fixed delivery timeframe; an estimated timeline will be shared once we understand the scope of your specific project.

7. Usage Rights

Every delivered video comes with full usage rights for both organic posting and paid advertising (including Meta and TikTok Ads), at no additional cost. These rights are granted to you upon full payment of the project total.

8. Cancellations (4 Video Bundle)

The 4 Video Bundle runs month to month. You may pause or cancel at any time, with no long-term contract. Cancellation applies to future billing cycles; it does not affect videos already in progress or already paid for.

9. Client Responsibilities

To keep the process moving, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your product during the briefing stage.
  • Review and respond to script drafts and video deliverables in a reasonably timely manner.
  • Flag any factual inaccuracies about your product before script approval — we do our best to verify claims, but you know your product best.

10. Communication

Tanto Lab operates asynchronously. All communication happens via email/written message — we do not offer scheduled calls as part of the standard process. We aim to respond within 24 hours.

11. Creator Image Rights

Creators featured in your video have granted Tanto Lab the right to use their image and voice for organic and paid advertising purposes in connection with your project. You may not use the creator's likeness for purposes outside the scope of the delivered video (e.g., unrelated campaigns, other brands) without separate arrangement.

12. Limitation of Liability

Tanto Lab is not liable for the performance of the delivered video as an advertisement (e.g., click-through rate, conversion rate, ad account performance) — these depend on factors outside our control, including your ad account, targeting, and platform algorithms. We are responsible for delivering the video as agreed upon in the approved script and brief.

13. Refunds

Because work begins upon receipt of the upfront payment (script writing, creator coordination), the upfront 50% is non-refundable once work has started. If we are unable to deliver a usable video due to an issue on our end, we will discuss a fair resolution with you, which may include a partial refund or a redo at no extra cost.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Tanto Lab operates as a French micro-entreprise (auto-entrepreneur).
